Ross Hearing would like to work with you. We can help your company meet Part 12 of Manitoba’s Workplace Safety and Health Regulation, which deals with hearing conservation in the workplace.
The regulation requires that employers take measures to reduce noise exposure to employees and
provide audiometric testing, protection and education for employees' to prevent noise-induced hearing loss.
So what does this mean for you as an employer?
A thorough Sound Level Assessment must be conducted to identify workers' exposure to harmful noise, and ensure mandatory regulations are being met.
A Hearing Test must be conducted for noise-exposed workers to obtain baseline results. Workers hearing must be re-tested on an annual basis thereafter to measure the success of the Hearing Conservation Program, and acquire records.
Employers' must provide hearing protection, as well as education regarding the fitting, care, limitations, and use of hearing protectors provided to noise exposed workers.

Noise Exposure Assessments
Using Sound level meters and personal dosimeters, we are able to conducts detailed noise level surveys. We will define areas within acceptable guidelines for noise exposure and those areas where potentially harmful noise exposure exists.
